The company was founded in 1963 by John and Allan Riley making angle iron aquariums and hoods in a garage and garden shed. Demand for the products was so great that within nine months they moved to a new 2500sq. ft factory in Bury St Edmunds. In July 1966 they met up with two brothers from Germany who were developing a new aquarium with an aluminium frame, anodised in a light bronze finish. At that point in time it was the most beautiful aquarium imaginable and it was well named 'The Juwel Aquarium' A strong relationship developed and the two companies worked closely together for the next 30 years.

In 1970 we were appointed UK distributors of Eheim power filters which are an important part of our programme today and we remain Eheims service centre for repairs, spare parts and technical information.
We are also the exclusive UK distributor for JBL foods, remedies, accessories and CO2 systems.

All sales units shown on this web site have been manufactured in our factories in Bury St Edmunds which have the facilities to produce an unlimited variety of products in sizes to suit all requirements, lengths, depths and heights to suit your shop. Two, three or four tier systems complete with lighting and electric sockets. We can build an installation to your own design, or design a system around your own ideas with guidance to ensure complete satisfaction.
